Barclays Cup competition (R3)

Midhurst Camera Club had its first meeting of 2008, which was held at The Angel Hotel on 9th January.

After the break over Christmas the members returned with great gusto exhibiting some lovely work on the set subject of “People – candid portraits”

Judge Chris Burstow, from Bognor, had the challenging job of working through all the entries, passing comments and helpful advice as he did so.

1st place was awarded to chairman, Karen Bennett with her candid portrait of Thomas. Runner up was Clive Bennett with his image of Wilf and third was David Smith with his.

The next meeting on the 23rd January welcomes Rosemary Calvert to the club when she will be doing a talk ‘in two halves’. The first half will be on Macro Photography and the second half on the Arctic and Antarctic.
